I know I shouldn't have ran two days in a row... but it's so nice out, and my co-worker wanted to go, so I couldn't say no. Felt great, went at good pace, out on the Rosslyn bridge and back on the Memorial Bridge. I brought my scissors this time!!!

Did my very first spin class ever after work - 45 minutes, it was so hard, I thought I was going to faint like this:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we9_CdNPuJg

Just be careful!!! Glad you are enjoying it. It is getting cold around here again, maybe even snow!!

From marion on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 15:12:00

Ok- please explain the sissors. I am sure you already have, but I must have missed it! xoxoxo

From Lucia on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 15:16:53

Hahaha! I don't know if I explained it - I have these braces on my gums, on top and bottom of my mouth. They are held together by wires, so I cannot open my mouth at all. In case of an emergency, if I am sick and need to throw up, or if I can't breath and someone needs to give me CPR or intubate me, the wires need to be cut, and hence the scissors/pliers that I have to carry with me at all times. Funny, ha?

Kelli, snow sounds awesome!!! Enjoy!!!

From marion on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 15:19:14

No enjoying the snow!!! Except while watching movies and drininkg hot chocolate!!!

I get the sissors now. CARRY YOUR SISSORS!!! :D

From Kelli on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 15:21:14

Can you imagine throwing up?? AWFUL.

From Metcalf Running on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 15:49:55

My oldest son had to have jaw surgery when he was 18. He stayed overnight at the hospital, and threw up with his jaw wired shut. He said it was the worest!!! I felt so sad for him. But thank heavens that is all behind him.

Great run Lucia, Be careful, but I"m so glad you are feeling well.

My first spin class I took I sweat more in that hour than I do in a marathon! Your legs didnt go stiff while you were spinning did they? ha ha, I can just see you! lol

From montelepsy on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 09:10:32

Alright another spinner!

From Lucia on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 09:18:19

I'm not so sure about that... maybe I'll try to do one spin class per week... it was hard, even for a fast biker like me!

Nobody commented on the funny fainting goats video???

From montelepsy on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 09:23:56

Walter did in his stiff leg comment. The goats are hysterical, btw.

From walter on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 13:16:39
