The highlight of the day: lunch with the one and only Jillzo, Jillzo from the Blog!

1.5 hours at the gym after work tonight - 1 hour on the elliptical, 15 mins in the bike, and 15 mins doing strength/core work.

I was looking at other people's machines when I was on the elliptical, and everyone's heart rate was a lot lower than mine! I wonder if I'm pushing myself too much, and should train in the recommended fat burning zone instead... it just feels like I'm barely doing any work when I'm in that zone! I don't even sweat! I'll have to read more about it...

It's raining here... after the gym, I got on my bike thinking I'd bike home on the rain... but forgot I had switched to hybrid tires and didn't have my mountain bike tires - not a lot of traction with water. So, down I went - thankfully, the street wasn't busy so I didn't get hurt too bad - just a very bloody knee and a lot of pride hurt. So, I metroed home with my bike.

On the 9th day till running
Lucia's bike played a trick
she fell down on the streeeeeeeeeeeeet!

What did the other bus riders say? You were all wet and bleeding? It's not funny, I know! I am really sorry you crashed! Darn it!

NINE MORE DAYS!!! That is SO close :)

Fantastic workouts! I don't know much about the heart rate stuff, but you really need to FEEL it! The others in the gym are wimps!!! ;D

Luci doll, dont worry about what other peoples hr zones are you goofball! The more you exercise, the more your heart rate will sustain at a lower number. I always blow my dr.'s minds when they check my pulse. Have you checked your resting hr lately? Also your hr usually always shoots up to a higher rate when you jump on a machine and crank it up. Try slowly increasing your tempo and youll see that your hr wont spike and you will have more energy too. Walters words of wisdom.
