Just another single 30-year old Argentine girl living the American dream in Washington DC and trying to run faster. Graduated from Southern Utah University in 2003, then moved to DC. I have a full-time job as research economist for an association in the transportation industry and I'm attempting to get my Master's degree in Economics from Johns Hopkins, part-time, while keeping my sanity!

What a gorgeous crisp Auttumn morning here in Capitol Hill! The birds are singing, the trees are turning orange/yellow, my house smells like flowers, my cat is cuddling next to me, and my breath stinks :)

I'm feeling well, just some discomfort from the braces/dirty mouth, so I didn't sleep that well. Woke up around 5 and took some more of the pain medicine to help me sleep.

Ok, so here's an update:
Pounds lost since the accident: about 7
Today's weight: 141.5 lbs.
Number of inches my butt has fallen since I haven't exercised since Sunday: about 10
Number of minutes Lucia will walk/do strengthening exercises for today: 60

Have a great day runners!!! Thank you for your support! I'll be out and about before you know it!

You do have wonderful friends. If only everyone had friends like yours the world would be a much better place. Heal fast and yes, scars are sexy.

I am glad you are sounding so up beat! Is is the drugs? I figured the weight would fall off for you ;) Up side to all things :)

Take care and don't do too much.

Good to see that you are still so positive! But take it easy, so you can get better fast.
