Biked to work this morning on my awesomely smooth new bike, and decided to run home after work - again, storms were forming and we had some wonderful rain thoughout the 6 miles home. Another huge double rainbow formed again, in the same spot as the other day! It was beautiful. Then the sun came out for the last part of the run. I got home and picked up my friend's keys and ran over to her house and back for a total of 9 miles for the day, a bit more than I wanted but good quality miles - it's weird how long it takes me to get warmed up, it took me almost 5 miles to feel good, and the last 4 miles I was going pretty fast. The top of my left foot hurt a bit, as if I was getting tendonitis... hopefully not. My right shin hurt a little at first but not in the end.

Lucia, sounds like you're getting some great work outs in. Have you thought about doing the Ragnar Relay in Washington D.C.? They're so fun!

crazy woman! you are such an animal, Lucia! I so admire your energy! I am having a hard tim finding the energy and dedication to boost my mileage, but tonight was a new record for me- I ran alone through RCP- which I normally dont like doing. I loved having my ipod and cruising along.

These rainbows are making up for all this crazy rain. I have pictures of them... I just love the double rainbows! Have a great week, rockstar!!!!
