45 minutes of pool running, couldn't take any more than that... I was able to get my cardio up to 120, I think.... I'm getting a hold of it the more I do it. I tried to do it without the aqua belt once, like Jeff (I think) does it, but man that was just impossible!!! Then I biked to work and a little more, 45 minutes on the bike and it's windy so the workout wasn't too bad... but considering that the past 2 days I've been eating like a pig (my roommate cooked and she had THREE desserts leftover... THREE DESSERTS!!!)... Then this week is restaurant week here in DC - most of the expensive, fancy restaurants in the city have a fixed menu of three courses for $35... so I went with friends last night to Mie N Yu... sooooo good! As I passed runners on my bike on the way to work this morning I wanted to be them so bad!!! I wanted to scream "I'm one of you! Really, I'm a runner too, don't look at me as if you were better than me!" Hahahah... A friend is going to hook me up with a free 2-week trial for a gym close to work, so hopefully I'll get my heart rate up on the stationary bike soon... Also, I signed up to volunteer for one of the Ragnar relay race teams here in DC - it's September 27, from Cumberland to DC, mostly on the C&O Canal, I think. Should be fun! Happy running! |
